LaSalle Municipal Project
The LaSalle Municipal project was a large commercial build, secured by Piroli Group in 2012. Through detailed planning, Piroli Group was able to meet the needs of the municipality which included housing the Police, EMS and Fire headquarters on the same property as the LaSalle Civic Centre. All four buildings needed to be state-of-the-art and function effectively for the community.
The LaSalle Civic Centre featured the town’s administrative offices, as well as a public library and seniors centre. Surrounding the building was a beautifully designed park with a sunken stage and a water feature, the Cenotaph, as well as a variety of walkways and benches for the public to enjoy the space. The interior of the building showcases a 2-storey living wall in the atrium which provides improved air quality and increases energy efficiency.
The four-building project commenced construction in April 2012 and wrapped up November 2014 at an estimated value of $22 million.
